The Strada dei Vini e dei Sapori del Gran Monferrato crosses southern Piedmont, in the province of Alessandria, promoting tourism, the local area, and its wine and food production. The approximately 700 km route, one of the longest in Italy, connects Casale Monferrato, Acqui Terme, Ovada and the Alessandria plain, showcasing local wines and traditional foods, farms, villages, landscapes, traditions, and the area’s historical and artistic heritage.
